The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
It's a movie that I have heard people recommending before I watch it.
So, certainly, a high expectation was already, again, before I watch it.
Overall, I like the story:
It's a tale of a man who was born under unusual circumstances, of the people and places he comes along the way, the loves he loses and finds, the joys of life and the sadness of death, and what lasts beyond time.
The one thing that I like about the story is the unconditional love.
How Queenie accepted Benjamin in and raised him to be a good man, how Benjamin embraces his life as it is (well, not that he can change it especially when he is an old man) and enjoy every piece that comes with it...
And how Daisy took him in when he grew younger (not the part when their ages met cos anyone would have fall in love for Benjamin that has a Brad-Pitt look), but the scene where Daisy was walking with the toddler Benjamin... that's love.
Hmm... I don't think I should compare this movie with Slumdog Millionaire, cos they are just different. However, 2hrs and 45mins makes the movie WAY too draggy.
