Checking out Doha
I'm leaving to Houston in 2 days time. This trip to the states, I will have a 3hour layover at Doha and will meet my friend there at 0640. My friend will bring me to the Corniche for breakfast and send me back to the airport right after that. I hope there is no traffic jam at 0800 cos my flight will take off at 0950.
Hope I get to see the beautiful sunrise.

So many things to see...
Hmm... wonder what do middle east people serve for breakfast?

Ahdo, will bring you to the corniche, then to the old souk, but pls dun expect too much cos all the shop will only open at 9am on Sat.
and for breakfast, the only 24 hours cafe is Costa...no special local breakfast for you...sorry.

ohh.... you can tapau middle east dinner the night before and bring them along.. hohoho :)
Think I took the same flight as ahdo the last time i was at Doha. 8am u can hardly see a soul walking in the street,not to mention cars! It's like a ghosttown! That was 4 yrs ago. Now it must hv changed a lot!
Too bad i won't be able to witness the change or is it still the same soon as we are not going to leave Doha Airport at the layover. Doha friend, we will see you next time!
