Cooking Saturday Dinner

I planned to try to cook a few new dishes on the weekend, and to make sure that I really do it, I gave myself pressure by posting my determination on my blog.

So, I went to Tesco to get the ingredients on Friday night. The shopping turned out to be much harder than I thought because I didn't realized that the ingredients I was looking for were so hard to get! I planned to make the 7 layers bean dip but I can't find the bean dip in regular hypermarket, I wanted to make sangria but I couldn't find the lemon concentrate... Finally Ning brought me to a supermarket in Ampang called Hock Chun that sells all kinds of grocery from the states and I finally got the stuff I wanted.

However, it was too late to prepare for the dinner. So, we just made Alio Oglio Seafood Fettucini. It was simply delicious! We saw Rajesh made it when we went for lunch last Sunday at Villa Danieli. Thanks to his tips of cooking alio oglio seafood pasta :)

Now only I realized that I didn't take a picture of it. It's ok... We will do that again!
