It has passed midnight & I am in the office

Here I am, sitting in the office waiting to review the creative. Yes, it's 2.30am. To many people, it would be outrages to work so late, not once, or twice, but most of the time.

I still remember when I started work in KL, my first medium size integrated marketing agency named * made me work so hard in the worst possible condition - crazy boss that has too many mood swing in a day, with his cina-ah-pek mentality that "I pay your salary, I will make sure that you work like a cow". Working in * was like working with devil in hell, the company trained me to be able to work under extreme stress, that whichever company I joined later... is just heaven.

So, after 7 years working in the advertising industry, yes, working late is no big deal. Sometimes, we can really leave "early", early enough for other people to wake up and get ready for work. Mom and dad used to feel that it is unthinkable that there are people that work really late and long hour. When they just moved down to KL, my dad used to call me around 4pm to ask me what time I will be home. It's a question that sometimes is very hard to answer.... because I don't know the answer. It might be 9pm if I was lucky, it might be 12 midnight, or... it might be even later. It happens not only to me, but most of my colleagues, especially when they just started work in this industry.

So it's really late now, or I should say, it's really early in the morning. Let's hope I get to leave the office before other people start their day.
