Seven Pounds

I watched Seven Pounds today. I have no clue about what I was about to watch except that the main cast is Will Smith.

As the movie started off, it became pretty clear that it is not a comedy and I knew instantly it is gonna be a depressing story, something like I Am Legend minus the horror part.

The storytelling of this movie is just like pieces of jigsaw puzzles that made me clueless of what it is trying to say until towards the end of the movie. It's about this guy who killed 7 people, including his Fiancée in a car crash because he was using his handphone while he was driving. He decided to redeem himself from the 7 lives he took away by donating all he has - wealth and health to those he thought good enough to deserve a second chance in their lives.
That involves his organs. So, at the end, he killed himself so that he can give his heart so a girl who has a heart condition.

I don't really like the story, because I feel that his thought is so crooked. I don't feel that his act is noble even though 7 strangers get to have another chance in their lives again. But the way he handles his mistake of live... it just does not connect to me.

Anyway, that's just my thought. Hmm, I need to watch some cheerful movie because the week starts again on Tuesday. Thanks to Nabi Mohammad, I don't have to work tomorrow, I mean today... since it's already passed 12midnight.
